The negative view toward the Nazi weltanschauung displayed by Krause especially in 1935, gave rise to objections against Krause’s appointment to the school advisory board, which was evidently planned, yet two years later.

The Zingst communal mayor Godendorff, a member of the NSDAP, complained to district administrator in Barth on June 10, 1937. Krause – and this was also the opinion of the acting NSDAP Gruppenleiter – could not become a member of the school advisory board because of his fundamental opposition to National Socialism.
