Making reference to a change in the treatment of “mixed marriages” reputedly becoming observable in Berlin, Wurm demanded in a letter to Reich Minister of the Interior Frick a general reorientation of the entire Jewish policy.

In this letter, too, Wurm did not fail to mention that he was not requesting a revision of the stance toward the Jews out of fondness for Judaism – its undue influence was disastrous. Rather, present measures contradicted God’s commandments and were troubling Christian Germans.
