First pointing out the seeming attractiveness of the declaration of belief in positive Christianity in article 24 of the 1920 party platform, Gschlössl then dramatically revealed the inconsistencies using concrete examples – Jesus’s statement on the tribute money or his commandment of charity. Many of Jesus’s demands would have to be reinterpreted in order to be in accord with Nazi ideology.
